Procon Technologies offers Fuji Electric’s ‘PXR3 series‘ of temperature controller. It is packed with features that meet a wide variety of needs in the process control industry and is backed by a three-year warranty. Its low-cost options include RS-485 communications, digital input (2 points), timer function, dual outputs, programmable alarms, 24V AC/DC power supply and 16-step ramp/soak programme.
It features a large LED display - larger than most of the other 1/16 & 1/32 DIN controllers. The faceplate of the controller is designed for NEMA 4X (IP66 equivalent); is watertight, and exhibits corrosion resistance. It has a user-friendly programming via 3-button keypad. In addition to auto-tuning and fuzzy control, it offers self-tuning - an innovation in the control field. It automatically retunes the controller under certain conditions, without reverting to auto-tuning.
The ‘PXR3’ accepts temperature & process inputs, and offers two control outputs & two programmable alarms. It allows remote monitoring of up to 31 controllers at a time with the use of RS-485 option that uses the industry standard MODBUS protocol.
